What I wish someone told me back in School— A message to all students.

I was the student who studied 24/7.
I went from failing my exams to scoring the world’s highest grades.
But looking back, I made a massive mistake: I thought grades were all that mattered.
Spoiler: they’re not.
And no one told me that.
#1 Grades are NOT everything.
Schools make it seem like grades are the whole game. They’re not.
University admissions? They want more than just a robot who aced math.
#2 What I should have done instead.
I should’ve used some of that time to:
Build real extracurriculars
Read more — both fiction and non-fiction
Work on side projects
Try out a sport
Start something I cared about (a YouTube channel, a blog, a business — anything)
#3 Why this actually matters.
Doing things outside of school books is how you stand out.
It’s how you build a story.
It’s how you give admission officers a reason to pick you — not just because you’re smart, but because you’re interesting.
I’ve lived this.
I went from failing to world’s highest grades. Now I help other students do the same — without losing their minds or their souls in the process.
If you’re serious about building long-term success, don’t just sit at your desk and study 12 hours a day.
Learn outside the syllabus. Own your time. Build your story.
Your future self will thank you.
Thanks for reading!
I’d love to hear your thoughts — questions, feedback, or just your take.
Until next time,
